Winner of the RIAI best commercial building 2005 and the OPUS architecture award 2005, Architect Arthur Gibney has designed a building which echoes the success of its predecessor, the main IMI headquarters.
The Liffey Suite, our largest conference room with versatile seating has a capacity for up to 300 delegates and comprises up to the minute technical equipment to effortlessly run seamless events. The conference centre is flanked by a large glass fronted atrium and overlooks tranquil water. Together they provide a tranquil setting for a range of events, from conferences & product launches to seminars and exhibitions. The modern exterior is mirrored by bright, spacious, contemporary designed interiors, with solid concrete form strategically punctured by a range of deep glazed recesses and narrow vertical incisions of glass strips in the walls, and scattered leather furnishings throughout the Atrium.
The suite can be used both vertically and horizontally and is complete with a hydraulic stage and electronic fully soundproofed sky lift partition, 125 ADSL lines & power points are dotted throughout the room and tri-phase power is also available.
The Liffey Suite has two ceiling mounted data and video LCD projectors, which swivel to make use of one of the four mounted screens. Fully integrated with stage lighting and sound systems, the room is controlled by 2 hand held touch screen room control systems, lighting, curtains, screens, sound and LCD. Aesthetically, the centre is neat without any unsightly wiring.

Audiovisual Facilities at IMI
IMI has trained technicians available to give full technical support during a conference or meeting, which are supplied by our partners in AVcom. There is video and teleconferencing capabilities for large conference groups in the Liffey Suite. Additional facilities available to hire include microphones, integrated seamless switchers, plasma screens, traffic light system and specialist conference lighting systems.
We also provide stylish executive accommodation on site at competitive rates. Our professional and friendly conference staff will take care of every aspect of your event on site and will provide logistic consultation leading up to the big day from technology and décor to timings and registration.
