Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards - Apply by August 13th.
Applications for the 2011 Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards programme are being accepted up until Friday, August 13th.
This programme, of which the IMI is academic sponsor, has been developed to recognise Irish companies on the island of Ireland operating at the highest levels of business performance.
The DeloitteBest Managed designation is a symbol of Irish corporate success and recognises excellence in business management and performance.
The programme seeks to identify best managed companies through an evaluation process that extends far beyond financial results.
Each year companies compete for the Deloitte Best Managed designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices.
One of the key benefits of the progamme is access to the latest management thinking and professional development through the IMI and especially through the Symposium which we organise at the culmination of the awards programme.
Applications for the 2011 programme are now being accepted and the process involves two separate phases:
- Phase I involves an online application and from that companies are shortlisted to progress to Phase 2 in early September
- Phase II involves shortlisted companies demonstrating how their organisation is meeting and mastering their growth strategy. Companies are evaluated under the following headings: strategy, capability, commitment and financials.
