Dr Gerard McHugh

Dr Gerard McHugh is Head of the School of Business at Trinity College, Dublin and Visiting Professor of International Accounting at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees, Paris.

Dr McHugh teaches in the areas of accounting, organisation, and management. He has lectured extensively on undergraduate, postgraduate and professional business programmes in Ireland and abroad. He has been associated with the Management Practice Programme since 1985 and was appointed Academic Director of the programme in 2003. His research interests are the areas of international accounting, financial reporting regulation and financial management and he has published widely on these subjects.
