IMI Library Resource Toolbar
The Athens Toolbar is an add-on for your Internet Explorer or Firefox Web browser. An add-on is a small program which runs inside your browser and adds a bit of functionality. In this case the Athens Toolbar allows users to sign in with their IMI username and password with a single click and select our resources from a dropdown menu. This way the IMI resources are never more than a single-click away. Very handy! Installation details are below.

Installation
Internet Explorer Instructions: 
• Click here to download the toolbar for Internet Explorer (version 6 - 9)
• When the download box appears choose 'Open','Run' or 'Install'. The wording will depend on your system. Follow the brief setup instructions.
• After installation is complete, restart your browser
• If the toolbar is not immediately visible, from the Internet Explorer menu click 'View' > 'Toolbars' and select the 'Athens Toolbar'
• Click here to download the toolbar for Firefox (version 1.5 - 6.0)
• When the download box appears choose 'Browse' beside the 'Open with...'
• Select 'Firefox' from the list and click 'OK'
• After installation is complete, restart your browser
• If the toolbar is not immediately visible, from the Firefox menu click 'Tools' > 'Add-Ons' then select 'Extensions' and check if 'Athens Toolbar' is 'Enabled'
The toolbar is not yet compatible with Chrome and Safari or any other browsers. If you need help installing the toolbar please email us or ring the library at 01 207 8513.
