What is Moodle and what is it used for?
Moodle is used as IMI's e-Learning platform. It provides a way for lessons and course materials to be delivered online in a secure way. Think of Moodle as a kind of headquarters for your course on the web.
Your Programme Administrator has created a section dedicated to your course within Moodle. Your login details will allow you to access this course area. Depending on your course you may submit assignments, download course notes, contribute to discussion forums, check your grades and more.
What's the difference between Moodle and the online Library resources?
Moodle is dedicated to your course. For example Moodle is the place to look for a handout from a lecturer or for a discussion forum with your study group. All research databases are part of the Library. They can be found in the links to the left. For example, the 'Journal Articles' tab is the likely place to start a research assignment. If you have any questions regarding where a piece of information might be located you can ask the Library staff.

Working with managers across a wide section of industries and sizes, one of the most common question I hear is: “What is the best way to deal with poor performers?” I now recognise this somewhat negative question as a human impulse that surfaces every time we feel threatened, uncertain or frustrated; our brains are just Read On
