CPD 2 2015: The Customer Value Proposition

IMI CPD For Managers

Our second workshop in our 2015 series of CPD Workshops for Managers kicks of on Thursday June 18th, with a session on The Customer Value Proposition led by John Fahy of University of Limerick.

Reaching sales and profit targets can be very difficult in an environment characterised by well-informed but fickle customers, low-cost competitors and rapidly changing technologies. Driving greater levels of internal efficiency only takes businesses so far. Unlocking real growth requires the creation of a compelling and differentiated value proposition that resonates in the marketplace.
This CPD Workshop will show how this is the key factor that distinguishes the world’s most admired companies from the rest. There is a clarity surrounding what makes them different and better than their competitors and how they exploit it relentlessly.

The session will cover:

  • Why customer value needs to drive the organisation’s strategy
  • The different types of value that any business can choose to offer
  • How to go about creating and executing a compelling customer value proposition

Participants should leave with a solid understanding of customer value and how to go about building it in their own organisation.
