This programme brings together leading practitioners, consultants, researchers and academics to provide you with the most up-to-date and proven strategies and frameworks for the effective management of human resources. It gives you an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of your Human Resources function and yourself as a senior manager/director. It enables you to improve the influence of the HR function and ensure that the function adds real value to the business. This includes the key HR role of leading change.

The IMI’s Master of Business (MoB) is an innovatively designed lifelong framework tailored to accelerate your professional development in a uniquely flexible manner. There are no formal entry criteria. However, this is a demanding programme and suitability of candidates will be assessed at a pre-programme discussion with the programme director. The purpose of the discussion is to ensure a good fit between the candidate and the diploma programme. Several years’ work experience at management level will normally be expected.
Successful participants will be awarded the IMI Diploma in Strategic Human Resources Management.
This qualification is accredited and awarded by University College Cork - National University of Ireland, Cork.
The IMI Diploma in Strategic HR Management is academically equivalent to a Postgraduate Certificate (level 9) Minor Award on the National Framework of Qualifications.
By completing this award, you will also earn one-third of the credits required to be awarded the IMI Master of Business qualification.
