IMI Smart Management Framework©

The Smart Management Framework© is a mechanism devised by IMI to provide an assessment of an organisation’s management and strategic capabilities.

The framework allows the organisation to be viewed through the twin lenses of management practices and quality of strategy.

By doing so IMI can help organisations to:

1. identify correctly where they are right now i.e. establish a baseline for performance
2. establish the options available to the organisation as it endeavours to improve its performance
3. carry out an assessment after an intervention to determine if improvement has taken place i.e. comparison of current state versus baseline state allowing for return on investment calculation
