Derek is a specialist in the area of management development and interpersonal communications with the IMI. Derek joined the IMI after 16 years working with a large multinational organisation where he gained experience in America, Europe, and Asia.
In his current role Derek is responsible for developing the open enrolment portfolio for the IMI where he delivers a number of programmes across management development and interpersonal communications.
Derek is also a regular contributor on the IMI Diploma programmes including, Dip in Management, Dip in Leadership, Dip in Organisational Behaviour, and Dip in Regulatory Management.
In addition to his academic qualifications Derek is also certified and licensed to administer and facilitate an extensive range of personal development instruments including:
Derek has published a number of books including his bestselling titles in both Psychology (DISCovering your style and dealing with difficult people) and Presentation skills (Presenting without fear).
