IMI Talent Forum 2016

Following the recent launch of our 2016 IMI Membership proposition, we are delighted to announce details of our Talent Forum for the coming year.

The IMI Talent Forum will provide senior HR practitioners (with a talent remit) an open, yet confidential, space to meet their peers to share their challenges and experiences and hear from international practitioners and leading thinkers. It will involve the delivery of a series of quarterly facilitated discussion forums for Ireland’s leading senior HR practitioners.
Taking place over the course of 2016, this series will be facilitated by IMI Associate Faculty member and seasoned HR practitioner, Fergus Barry, and will offer our members a unique opportunity to deep dive into your most pressing talent management challenges.
Among the multitude of high value benefits on offer to participating organisations this year, the Talent Forum aims to provide these organisations with:

Rob Jones is Head of Organisational Effectiveness at Crossrail, the £15bn programme to deliver a new railway for London.
Described as a values-led ‘pop-up’ organisation, it is interesting because it involves many different organisations, across several industries, all collaborating under the one umbrella. With 14,000 people, most not directly employed, the challenge to create an integrated team is massive and involves not only aligning the culture, but also a complex supporting framework.

Neil Morrison is Group HR Director with Penguin Random House and one of the main leads to have steered the merger between the two leading publishers, which has brought together almost 11,000 staff globally. Post-merger, Neil questions in this session what disruptive HR means today in practice, how that impacts on personal resilience and what it takes to be a ‘critical friend’, one who tells the CEO what s/he needs to hear.
