As you are aware, the company is about to be acquired by a new owner. This document outlines some of the most frequently asked questions in this scenario and how it affects you.

Education regulation
1. Will the Kilcullen Business Post Group’s purchase of IMI impact my course/credentials?
There will be no impact on your learning journey – you will continue to be part of the same class group, on the same curriculum, with the same faculty, with the same services, leading to the same UCC award.
2. Is UCC still the awarding body?
UCC will continue to award qualifications in respect of IMI credit bearing programmes for everyone currently enrolled. They will also be the awarding body for all students starting their studies within the next 2 years.
3. Is there a change in the terms and conditions of my enrollment?
As a participant on an IMI programme leading to a UCC award, you have the right to complete your programme under the same terms and conditions as those in place when you registered initially.
4. Will I lose access to UCC facilities?
You will retain access to UCC services such as Canvas, the Library, a student card should you wish, and mystudent admin. Entry, registration deferral, assessment, appeal regulations do not change.
