Now more than ever, Sustainability is becoming a competitive advantage for your organisation, rather than a simple box-ticking exercise. Building a sustainable organisation requires a movement of change – organisations are no longer judged on their environmental policies, but rather on how their promised initiatives actually limit environmental risks.

While many organisations have recognised the need for real action, few have yet developed the capabilities to accelerate transformational change in leadership mindset and action.

By viewing sustainability through the prism of leadership capabilities and mindset, IMI’s programme will enable a reframe of the sustainability agenda, driving an impactful shift in the way your organisation does business.

The role of the programme

Organisations are committed to sustainability, but often they don’t yet recognise the need for a paradigm shift in the way business is done. Leadership teams can be pulled in competing directions, and must learn to develop clear frameworks for driving change towards sustainability.

On this programme, you will gain an understanding of the business and ethical case for sustainability, and develop the courage to drive towards change. You will leave with a peer network primed for accelerating the charge towards a sustainable organisation.

Who should attend?

This programme is designed for senior leaders interested in building capabilities to drive change towards sustainability through leadership, and communities of practise. We recommend that the Head of Sustainability attend, along with senior leaders from across different areas of the business (including procurement, finance, operations, and strategy).
