Anna Connolly

Anna is a core member of the IMI Associate Faculty and has been with IMI since March 2020 working on numerous programmes. Anna is the current Programme Director on the Professional Diploma in Organisational Behaviour.

Anna is a Chartered Work & Organisational Psychologist and EMCC Accredited Senior Practitioner Coach with over 20 years’ experience in leadership development, organisational psychology, and executive coaching. As founder of Work Frontiers, Anna specialises in solution‑focused coaching for new managers and leaders experiencing change. She has delivered large‑scale leadership programmes, designed competency frameworks, facilitated development centres for senior leaders, and coached executives across sectors including financial services, technology, media, and pharma.

Previously, Anna spent 13 years with Ericsson in senior global roles across service delivery, learning, and customer operations, experience that enables her to bring practical, real‑world leadership insights into the classroom.

At IMI, she serves as Programme Director and Associate Faculty, delivering leadership and management programmes that integrate evidence-based psychology with practical business solutions. Her expertise spans mentoring, curriculum development, and creating inclusive, high-performance cultures. Anna combines a strong corporate background, including senior roles at Ericsson, with academic credentials such as an MSc in Occupational Psychology and a Professional Diploma in Executive Coaching.

Highly engaging and psychologically grounded in her approach, Anna blends evidence‑based practice with real organisational experience to help leaders strengthen communication, enhance decision‑making, and create cultures of psychological safety and innovation.
