IMI is governed by a Board of senior business leaders, including Board members appointed by the President of UCC and Board members elected by the Council of IMI.
IMI’s Board is responsible for deciding and ensuring the implementation of IMI’s overall strategy and business plans. Board members also play an important role as ambassadors for IMI, and support IMI in developing its network and customer insight.
IMI’s Council is the representative body of IMI’s membership community and as such is a key stakeholder in IMI’s work. As a “voice of Irish business”, Council plays a crucial role in influencing the evolution of IMI’s products and services, and in expanding IMI’s reach and impact across industry. The IMI Council also acts as an advisory group, assisting the IMI Board in specified areas.
