Dr. Mark Glynn is an educational technology leader with more than 20 years’ experience at the intersection of education, technology, and digital transformation. His career spans industry, higher education, and the EdTech sector, bringing a unique perspective on how technology can enhance learning and institutional performance.

Mark served as Head of Teaching Enhancement at Dublin City University, where he led a team responsible for advancing digital learning and academic development across the institution. During this time, DCU’s Moodle learning management system scaled from a small local installation to a platform supporting over six million annual visits. He also significantly expanded engagement with the university’s President’s Teaching Awards and co-chaired the Ireland and UK Moodle Moot conferences.

A Principal Fellow of AdvanceHE, Mark is a published author and active contributor to the international EdTech community. He has organised international conferences and developed open-source Moodle plugins used by institutions worldwide. Mark also serves on the board of AHEAD Ireland, advocating for inclusive and accessible education.
