Bernard Marr is a leading global authority and best-selling author on organisational performance and business success. Bernard is CEO and Dean of Research at The Advanced Performance Institute (API), a leading independent research and advisory organisation specialising in organisational performance. The API aims to provide companies, governments and not-for-profit organisations with insights, advice and services that help them deliver lasting change and superior performance, especially on topics such as Balanced Scorecards, Performance Measurement and Corporate Performance Management.
Bernard Marr has written a number of books, reports and articles on managing organisational performance. These include the best-sellers – More with Less: Maximising Performance in the Public Sector (2011), The Intelligent Company: Five Steps to Success with Evidence-Based Management (2010) [Click here to see this book on the IMI Library Catalogue], Managing and Delivering Performance (2008) and Strategic Performance Management (2006). Prior to his role at the Advanced Performance Institute Bernard held positions at the University of Cambridge and at Cranfield School of Management.
