Sinead Farrelly joined IMI as People and Culture Director in July 2022 with responsibility for HR and Associate Faculty Engagement.

Prior to joining IMI, Sinead was Head of HR for the Irish Operation of LeasePlan Digital and was subsequently appointed as Head of Organisational Development & Engagement in 2021 for LeasePlan Digital, across Dublin, Amsterdam and Eastern Europe.

Prior to that, Sinead held the position of Human Resources Director for 8 years with Apleona HSG Ltd, a global Engineering and Facilities Management organisation, leading a team of 1500 people with responsibility for Ireland, UK, Belgium and The Nordics and responsible for HR strategic organisational leadership, transformation and mergers & acquisitions.

Sinead also held the position of Human Resources Manager with Mazda Motor Ireland, a leading Motor Retail Services organisation and spent 6 years as Human Resources Manager for Designer Group, Engineering Services.

Sinead completed an MBS (Master of Business) programme with the IMI/UCC in September 2022, comprising of 3 Professional Level 9 Diplomas in Executive Coaching, Organisational Development and Transformation and Strategic Human Resource Management. Sinead also completed a Diploma in Strategic Business Management with IMI prior to commencing her Masters programme.  Sinead studied Russian and Irish in Trinity College Dublin and is CIPD qualified and holds Diplomas in HRM and in Marketing and has also achieved yellow belt standard in Lean Six Sigma.
